The Experimental Psychology Society is for the furtherance of scientific enquiry within the field of Psychology and cognate subjects. This 5 day course presents the normal and potentially abnormal development of sensory, motor and cognitive neural systems. Competing processes involved in early injury or abnormal neurodevelopment are considered, such as available neural plasticity and reorganisation of function, crowding effects, sleeper effects and altered trajectories of learning.

Building on the success of the 2008 event, the next POP Conference will precede the DOP Annual Conference. The event offers an exciting mix of skills workshops, networking opportunities and postgraduates presentations focussing on their research.

This is the third year that the DOP conference will be Exhibition Stand preceded by the POP (Postgraduate Occupational Psychology) Conference.

This 5 day course describes how cognition and aetiology are related in a range of developmental disorders. The complexity of studying a brain that is developing abnormally is illustrated by clinical case studies and syndrome profiles. Developmental disorders used to illustrate brain-behaviour relationships include neurological disorders such as epilepsy, traumatic brain injury, and cerebrovascular disease as well as neurodevelopmental disorders such as autistic spectrum disorders, ADHD, dyslexia and dyscalculia.

The Society for Personality and Social Psychology (SPSP) was founded in 1974 when the leadership of Division 8 of the American Psychological Association decided to incorporate as an independent organization. Today, SPSP includes more than 4,500 members from around the world who study a wide array of subfields. Conference theme: Facing the Future with Heart and Mind. Much of management research has focused on rational thought, analysis and actions. While these remain important considerations in management research, scholars have focused increased attention on emotional issues in the workplace.
